The Fanshawe Student Union (FSU) is extending the opportunity for part-time students registered in a part-time post-secondary program (CTPT) to opt-in to the Domestic Student Health Plan (Balanced Plan) for the 2026-2027 Academic Year (Extended Pilot).
Interested students must complete this opt-in process online by visiting alumno.ca and then choosing ‘Fanshawe College’ as your school. Click on the square that says, ‘Part-Time Opt-In’. Complete the application including online payment (Visa/Mastercard) and when completed, a copy of the request and payment will be issued to the student.
Students may change/choose their plan and/or opt-in family members* (spouse/dependents) online after the opt-in is complete. A full breakdown of health plan(s) can be found at the alumno.ca website. *Additional fee applies.
Please note, health coverage is not instant, once the opt-in period has past and confirmation of eligibility has been shared with the insurance company, the student will be added onto the domestic student health plan.
