Ancillary Fees

Ancillary fees are charged in addition to tuition and are established in accordance with the Ministry of Training, Colleges and Universities guidelines. These fees support academic services, athletics and recreation, student facilities, transit passes, health and counselling, and more.

Most ancillary fees are charged once per academic semester (Fall, Winter, or Summer). Two fees, the Domestic Student Health and Dental Fee and the LTC Student Bus Pass, are annual fees and are charged once per academic year, regardless of the number of semesters studied.

As of the 2026-2027 academic year, FSU ancillary fees (excluding the two annual fees) represent roughly 30% of total ancillary fees paid by Fanshawe students, with the remaining almost 70% collected by the College. A semester-by-semester breakdown of FSU ancillary fees is provided below. Visit Fanshawe College’s Ancillary Fees page for details on college-administered fees.
