Forsyth just may needle you Published: Monday, March 19th, 2012  Becca Forsyth is in her second year of the Fashion Design program at Fanshawe. Said Forsyth, “I’m a pretty quiet person, but when it comes to designing I can’t shut up. I have a serious shoe addiction and probably half my debt is attributed to purchasing shoes. I love crafting basically anything from fabric flowers to hair bows.” 1. Why are you here? I wanted to learn how to sew at a higher level of quality. 2. What was your life-changing moment? When I first started to sew a couple years ago with my grandma. I’ve been hooked ever since. 3. What music are you currently listening to? Washed Out, Cults and Generationals. 4. What is the best piece of advice you’ve ever received? Make friends with a photography student because sooner or later you’ll need to photograph your work. 5. Who is your role model? Ron Swanson. 6. Where in the world have you travelled? New York City and all over Canada. 7. What was your first job? Working in a candy store and scooping ice cream. 8. What would your last meal be? I would want free run of a Bulk Barn and just sample all the candy. 9. What makes you uneasy? Goat eyes, their pupils are rectangular. RECTANGULAR. 10. What is your passion? Sewing, of course!
