It's that time of year when love is on everyone's mind. In the spirit of love, here are my top 10 romantic films, but be warned, they're tearjerkers!

10. Dirty Dancing
Nobody puts Baby in a corner, especially not when she's fallen madly in love with a dance instructor at the holiday camp her family's spending the summer at. Much to the dislike of her father, Baby learns how to dance and love from the older and more experienced Johnny.

9. Breakfast at Tiffany's
Holly Golightly is looking everywhere for love, but she can't quite seem to find it – that is, until she meets Paul, who will change everything for her.

8. The Philadelphia Story
Cary Grant, James Stewart and Katherine Hepburn star in this classic Hollywood romance about a woman whose ex-husband returns to her on the eve of her second marriage, and she must quickly figure out what her heart truly desires.

7. It Happened One Night
The very first romantic comedy features Clark Gable as a reporter who is looking to write a story about the woman who has run away from her wealthy family. Gable's character pledges to help the woman out, but falls hopelessly in love with her instead.

6. Lost in Translation
When an aging American movie star meets a beautiful and lonely young American newlywed in Tokyo, they form an improbably strong bond. They must decide if and when their time together will come to an end.

5. Titanic
Like Romeo and Juliet, Jack and Rose are a pair of star-crossed lovers who meet on the ill-fated ship and fall desperately in love. When Rose gives up her entire life to be with Jack, he in turn will give up everything for her.

4. Love Actually
Multiple stories are interwoven in this tale of Christmas time in England; an aging rock star, the Prime Minister, a married couple, a devoted sister, a pair of newlyweds and a heartbroken writer all experience finding love in the truest sense.

3. The Notebook
Allie and Noah were meant to be together, and although their relationship is tumultuous at first, the two lovers will do anything to stay together. Told in a series of flashbacks that culminate in a heartbreaking present-day finale, this film will have your heart aching.

2. An Affair to Remember
Two people, who are each engaged to someone else, begin a torrid affair on vacation. Upon returning home, they pledge to meet again atop the Empire State Building in six months if they are still in love with each other.

1. Casablanca
They'll always have Paris. After Rick and Ilsa meet and fall deeply in love in Paris during the Second World War, circumstances force Ilsa to leave suddenly and inexplicably. When Rick is reunited with her in Casablanca, Morocco, he will do whatever it takes to grant her a happy life.
